For my internship, I am doing marketing and PR at PromoWest/AEG for Stage AE. The marketing and promotions internship is part-time and unpaid. One thing I would like to learn at this internship is I would like to develop new skills for working in a professional office setting within the music industry. Another thing I am interested in learning is building relationships with different businesses and maintaining that relationship. The last learning objective is to be able to become proficient in my communication skills when working in teams and meetings. During my marketing internship at Stage AE, I will have many different responsibilities giving me learning opportunities and experience.  Every week, I will be attending the office, learning how to work in an office setting. During my office hours, I will be attending meetings and helping my supervisor with day-to-day office duties. Along with my office hours, I will be street teaming, contacting businesses to build relationships for Stage AE, and maintaining them throughout my internship. My organizational skills will be used quite often as during the day I will be creating files, entering data into excel, and entering emails for marketing. During concerts, I will be greeting and assisting customers, while also managing the promotions table. Throughout my internship, I will be given many learning opportunities and exciting experiences.
