For week 14, I was able to help with marketing for a concert. This concert was a band called Bush. This band is considered to be an alternative rock or hard rock band. The band had a meet n greet, where fans were able to come in and take pictures with the band. I had to flyer all of Stage AE with flyers of bands that had similar demographics. The bands that are coming to Stage AE that have similar fans would be, Sugar nu metal party, Static-X, Alestorm, Neck Deep, Waterparks, O.A.R., and Starset. Along with those bands, I was to hang up the monthly calendars for Stage AE, which shows every upcoming event within the next few months. For this concert, there was a Bush pre-party. The pre-party was hosted by 105.9 IHeart Radio station. There were guests that won a giveaway to get access to this pre-party. For the pre-party these fans were able to enter the venue 30 minutes early. Once they entered the venue, they had to go up to Stage AE’s American Eagle Lounge and stay in there until the doors opened for all fans. At the pre-party, there was food that was catered for the fans. I assisted the marketing manager with setting up for the pre-party. Along with the pre-party, IHeartRadio was also doing a raffle giveaway for a signed guitar. I enjoyed being able to help set up for the pre-party and learning more.
