In week 13, I was able to work in the office for my internship at Stage AE. One thing I was able to do was attend a coffee meeting with my internship supervisor and the office manager at Stage AE. At this coffee meeting, we were able to review different marketing ideas for our sponsors or new ideas for marketing. This meeting was very business casual. After that coffee meeting, I was also able to attend the bi-weekly meeting for all marketers at Promowest/AEG. This meeting was online. The first thing to happen in the meeting was that they reviewed their agenda for the meeting. They were planning on reviewing two topics. After they reviewed the agenda, all of the marketers were going over tips on how to successfully communicate with buyers. Then also reviewing what doesn’t work when communicating with buyers. Reviewing the tips on communicating with buyers ended up taking up the whole meeting, so they were unable to go over the second topic. During the meeting I was able to learn two terms. One term is benchmarking, which is a number that is needed to be reached. Another term is forecasting, which is a prediction. Another thing I learned about is the marketing phases. There are three marketing phases. Which is presale, maintenance, and backend.
